The Deductivist is a weekly email newsletter

on the art of observation and behavioural

deduction.

Free subscription: you receive the free PDF

guide and up to five introductory emails

at no cost.

Paid subscription: you receive one new issue

every week, access to the full archive, and

all future issues for the duration of your

active subscription.

We reserve the right to adjust the publishing

schedule in exceptional circumstances. We will

notify subscribers in advance of any significant

changes to the content or format.

PRICING AND BILLING

The paid subscription is priced at €5.90 per

month (or the equivalent in your local currency

as determined by Stripe).

Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

Your subscription renews automatically each

month until cancelled.

You will receive a payment confirmation by

email after each successful charge.

We do not store your payment information.

All payment data is handled exclusively

by Stripe in accordance with their privacy

policy (stripe.com/privacy).

CANCELLATION

You may cancel your paid subscription at any

time. There are no cancellation fees.

To cancel, click the "Manage subscription"

link in any email from us, or contact us at

hello@thedeductivist.com.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your

current billing period. You will continue to

receive issues until that date.

After cancellation, you will no longer be

charged and will lose access to paid content.

REFUNDS

We offer a full refund within 7 days of

your first payment if you are not satisfied.

To request a refund, email us at

hello@thedeductivist.com within 7 days

of your initial charge.

Refunds for subsequent billing periods

are considered on a case-by-case basis.

We aim to resolve all requests within

5 business days.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content published in The Deductivist —

including text, structure, and PDF guides —

is the intellectual property of Matthew Blackwood.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or resell

any content from The Deductivist without

prior written permission.

You may share individual insights or brief

excerpts with attribution to

thedeductivist.com.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Deductivist provides educational content

for informational purposes only.

We make no guarantees about specific outcomes

from applying the techniques described.

Results depend on individual practice

and application.

To the fullest extent permitted by law,

The Deductivist shall not be liable for

any indirect, incidental, or consequential

damages arising from your use of our content.

GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of

the Czech Republic.

Any disputes arising from these terms shall

be resolved in accordance with Czech law

and, where applicable, European Union

consumer protection regulations.

As a consumer in the EU, you retain all

rights granted to you under applicable

consumer protection law, which these

terms do not override.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms of Service

from time to time.

We will notify active subscribers of

any material changes by email at least

14 days before they take effect.

Continued use of The Deductivist after

changes take effect constitutes acceptance

of the updated terms.
